Polysilicon and module producer Tongwei is planning to construct a brand new cell and module manufacturing facility within the Shuangliu District, within the Sichuan province. The corporate will make investments CNY10.5 billion ($1.48 billion) within the new facility, which may have an annual capability of 25 GW for the cells and 20 GW for the modules. The corporate stated all cell traces needs to be operational within the first half of 2024, whereas the module gear needs to be working in 2025.

Panel producer Canadian Photo voltaic Inc. (CSI) introduced it would construct a 14 GW monocrystalline silicon wafer in Yangzhou, within the Jiangsu province. The producer plans to speculate CNY900 million within the new manufacturing plant.

Wafer producer GokinSolar is planning to restart an IPO course of on the Shenzhen Inventory Trade (SZSE), after withdrawing from a primary IPO request in September. On the finish of 2022, the corporate had an annual manufacturing capability of 30 GW. GokinSolar can also be constructing a 50 GW PV ingot manufacturing facility in Xining Metropolis, Qinghai Province.
