Statkraft has agreed to amass the Crimson John Pumped Storage Hydro Scheme from Clever Land Investments Group.
The 450MW scheme, granted consent by Scottish Authorities ministers in June 2021, is roughly 14 kilometres southwest of Inverness.
The Crimson John scheme goals to seize extra renewable power and retailer it for future use, contributing to the safety of provide.
