A groundbreaking ceremony has signaled the beginning of development for the Lumut Balai Unit 2 geothermal energy plant in South Sumatra, Indonesia.
PT Pertamina Geothermal Power (PGEO) has damaged floor on the development of the ability plant and Fluid Assortment and Reinjection System (FCRS) for the Lumut Balai Unit 2 venture in South Sumatra, Indonesia. The 55-MW growth of the present energy facility is ready to function by the top of 2024.
“Building [of] Lumut Balai PLTP Unit 2 will improve the geothermal capability within the Lumut Balai Space, bringing the overall geothermal power within the space to 110 MW, making it the third largest PLTP (pembangkit listrik tenaga panas bumi / geothermal energy plant) in Sumatra,” stated PGEO President Director Julfi Hadi throughout the groundbreaking ceremony.
