The Windward Offshore three way partnership, comprising Diana Delivery, Blue Star Group, SeaRenergy Offshore, and SeraVerse, has exercised its possibility to accumulate two extra hybrid Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) from Norway-based shipbuilding firm VARD.
Following the completion of the acquisition of the 2 extra CSOVs, Windward Offshore may have contracts to accumulate 4 vessels, with deliveries scheduled to happen between the third quarter of 2025 and the third quarter of 2026.
All 4 vessels are designed by Vard Design in Ålesund, Norway. For 2 vessels, the hulls can be inbuilt considered one of VARD’s shipyards in Romania, whereas the ultimate outfitting, commissioning, and supply can be carried out by considered one of VARD’s shipyards in Norway.
The opposite two hulls can be delivered from VARD’s shipyard in Vietnam. The vessels will assist power majors globally in setting up, commissioning, and sustaining offshore wind farms.
