CAIRO, Jan 31 (Reuters) – Yemen’s Houthis on Wednesday mentioned their naval forces carried out an operation concentrating on an “American service provider ship” within the Gulf of Aden hours after firing missiles at U.S. Navy destroyer Gravely.
They focused the “American service provider ship KOI … with a number of applicable naval missiles,” Houthi army spokesperson Yahya Sarea mentioned in an announcement.
The Liberian-flagged container ship KOI is operated by UK-based Oceonix Companies. The corporate’s fleet contains the oil tanker Marlin Luanda, which was broken by a missile on Saturday, delivery information confirmed.
