Ledwood Mechanical Engineering, Mainstay Marine Options and CELSA Metal UK have been named because the three Welsh corporations chosen to participate within the nation’s first Match 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) program.
This system, designed to assist native corporations bidding for work within the floating offshore trade, will probably be delivered by the Offshore Renewable Vitality (ORE) Catapult in partnership with Floventis Vitality, the developer of Llŷr 1 and a pair of within the Celtic Sea.
F4OR, began in 2019, is a 12- to 18-month program throughout the UK that has thus far delivered 5 regional applications within the northeast of Scotland, northeast of England, East Anglia and Suffolk, in addition to run nationwide applications. Over 110 corporations have been supported.
Future F4OR Wales cohorts are set to be introduced within the coming months.
