Superior Energy has bought its 100% curiosity within the 232 MW DC Oriana Photo voltaic undertaking to Sabanci Renewables, a subsidiary of Sabanci Holdings.
With the sale of Oriana Photo voltaic, Superior Energy has efficiently originated and closed 4 utility-scale photo voltaic and photo voltaic+battery storage initiatives totaling greater than 800 MW DC and 240 MWh of battery storage capability.
The sale, which was led by Marathon Capital LLC, is the second transaction Superior Energy has closed with Sabanci.
“We’re excited to proceed working with Sabanci and efficiently transition Oriana Photo voltaic by means of its last improvement and into building,” says Thomas Spang, Superior Energy’s CEO.
Oriana Photo voltaic might be co-located with 60 MW/120 MWh of battery storage capability in Victoria County, Texas. The undertaking serve the load facilities within the Gulf Coast area of Texas, together with Houston, Corpus Christi and Freeport.
Building of Oriana Photo voltaic is anticipated to start within the first quarter of 2024, with business operation to start out in 2025.
Oriana Photo voltaic will promote power and renewable power credit into the ERCOT energy market.
