Indonesia’s state-owned geothermal developer and operator PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) has obtained a €825,000 grant from German funding and improvement financial institution Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau Bankengruppe (KfW). The grant will go in direction of Temperature Core Gap (TCH) drilling of two wells within the Candi Umbul Telemoyo / Umbul Telemoyo Temple Geothermal Working Space (WKP) in Central Java, Indonesia.
The Candi Umbul Telemoyo WKP was awarded to PT Geo Dipa in 2017 by way of direct award by the Ministry of Power and Mineral Sources. The geothermal website has a possible capability of 45 MW.
