Swedish-Belgian group wins Norway’s first offshore wind license

A consortium fashioned by Belgium’s Parkwind and Ikea’s father or mother firm has gained the tender to construct Norway’s first offshore wind farm, Norway’s authorities stated Wednesday.
Following two days of bidding, the three way partnership Ventyr emerged because the winner to develop the deliberate 1,500 MW wind energy farm within the Sorlige Nordsjo II discipline within the North Sea.
