Mou Signed For Offshore Wind Options In Taiwan

Swire Renewable Power A/S (SRE) and Tien Li Offshore Wind Expertise Co., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ship operations and upkeep providers within the Taiwanese offshore wind turbine business and different components of the Asia Pacific area.

The settlement was formalized in Taipei throughout a ceremony attended by Tien Li, President, Ok.D. Wu and Swire Renewable Power Chief Govt Officer, Ryan Smith, and marks a key step for each firms to develop a three way partnership focussed on delivering localised wind turbine operations and upkeep providers and finally enhancing effectivity, reliability and sustainability of offshore wind farms in Taiwan and different Asia Pacific markets. 

Swire and Tien Li intend to develop a big pool and native Taiwanese technicians with a broad talent set in blade restore, electrical and mechanical
upkeep, offshore marine logistics providers and wind turbine operations and upkeep.

Swire Renewable Power opened workplaces in Taiwan in 2023, and has established a robust presence in Taiwan, contributing to key tasks similar to Higher Changhua, Yunlin, Chang Fang Xi Dao, and Zhong Neng offshore wind farm tasks within the final 24 months.
