Merely Blue Group has joined the North Sea Farm 1 Challenge (NSF1) consortium to develop the world’s first commercial-scale seaweed farm situated inside an offshore wind farm.
Positioned off the coast of the Netherlands within the North Sea, the ten hectare farm is deliberate to develop into operational this autumn when it’s slated to be deployed and seeded, with the primary harvest anticipated subsequent spring.
