Ocean Installer has secured a brand new Subsea Line Modification (SLM) undertaking award from Equinor on Åsgard A floating storage and offloading vessel (FPSO), situated within the central a part of the Norwegian Sea.
The scope of labor on Åsgard A covers restoration of two risers, set up of 1 new riser and versatile jumper and engineering, procurement, and set up of GRP Covers to guard the jumper.
Offshore operations are scheduled for fall 2024, in line with Ocean Installer.
In July 2023 Ocean Installer was awarded SLM Initiatives on Vigdis, Visund, Åsgard C and a morgrip connection on the brand new Northern Mild CO2 pipeline.
The Åsgard A Challenge was gained in a brand new aggressive tender and can now be added to this undertaking portfolio and built-in below the prevailing undertaking staff and executed in continuation with the opposite work.

Åsgard was found in 1981, and the plan for improvement and operation (PDO) was permitted in 1996.
The Åsgard area contains the accumulations Smørbukk, Smørbukk Sør, Midgard and Blåbjørn. The sphere has been developed with subsea wells tied-back to a manufacturing, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO), Åsgard A.
The event additionally contains Åsgard B, a floating, semi-submersible facility for gasoline and condensate processing. The gasoline centre is related to a storage vessel for condensate, Åsgard C. The manufacturing began in 1999.
