Wärtsilä has signed a long-term assured asset efficiency settlement with CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE), a three way partnership between CSBC Corp. and DEME Offshore, protecting CDWE’s new 216-meter marine set up vessel (MIV).
The MIV, dubbed “Inexperienced Jade,” was designed and in-built Taiwan and booked by Wärtsilä in Q1 of this yr. The corporate says the lifecycle settlement it gives will improve the vessel’s uptime.
“From the very first discussions it was clear that availability, upkeep flexibility and reliability have been important for this challenge with CDWE throughout challenge execution,” says Henrik Wilhelms, Wärtsilä Marine’s director of settlement gross sales.
“This vessel holds a particular flag administration and classification society exemption, allowing 7.5 years drydocking intervals. That is enabled with information, AI and shut collaboration between us and the ship operator.”
