EDP Renewables Introduces Arkansas Photo voltaic Park in Mississippi County






EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) has launched its 175 MW Crooked Lake Photo voltaic Park in Mississippi County, Ark. 

The venture is constructed on land leased by native landowners and is ready to assist 330 development jobs and 6 everlasting jobs. 

“We’re proud to proceed our enlargement within the South with a deal with serving the clear power wants of Arkansas,” says Sandhya Ganapathy, CEO of EDPR NA. “By offering sustainable power to Mississippi County and the encircling space, we’re producing financial development and grid stability for generations to come back within the area.”

A spotlight was positioned on STEM schooling and local people influence, using the venture’s development to teach college students at Armorel Faculty District and Blytheville Faculty District in partnership with KidWind. The venture crew additionally volunteered and donated to the Undertake a Block Initiative and Mississippi County Union Mission.
