The 2 winners of the Geothermal Internship 2024 “Younger Geothermal Promoters: linking academia, business and communities” have been introduced in Mexico.
Throughout the framework of the XXX Congress of the Mexican Geothermal Affiliation (AGM), in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, the 2 winners of the First Geothermal Internship 2024 “Younger Promoters of Geothermal Power: linking academia, business and communities” had been introduced, YGP- 2024. This system is an initiative led and arranged by ENERYOU, the UNAM Institute of Geophysics, and the Worldwide Geothermal Affiliation (IGA), with the collaboration of Grupo IIDEA, ALVO, and IER.
The winners, Bárbara Utesá from the Argentine Geothermal Chamber, and Jaime Muñoz from the Honduran Institute of Geology and Mines (INHGEOMIN), will spend 5 weeks in Mexico absorbing every little thing geothermal. The internship program consists of participation within the aforementioned Congress, visits to geothermal crops and communities, in addition to work with analysis teams.
