Houston-based long-duration power storage developer Quidnet Power has introduced a significant deal that would see a whole lot of megawatts of its progressive know-how deployed in Texas to assist tackle ERCOT’s pressing want for power storage.
The corporate has introduced a strategic partnership with a $10 million funding from Hunt Power Community (HEN), a distributed power assets developer with expertise in subsurface improvement.
The 2 Texas-based firms will collaborate on a build-transfer program for 300 MW of tasks using Quidnet Power’s GES know-how, which depends on well-sealed underground reservoirs for power storage.
The partnership will pair Quidnet’s resolution with HEN’s comparable subsurface applied sciences and its capabilities in growing power storage tasks, the businesses stated in a launch.
