ABO Wind has closed the sale of the challenge rights for a photovoltaic challenge in South Africa. The challenge is the third photovoltaic facility inside a cluster comprising a complete of 300 megawatts. It has a nominal capability of 100 megawatts and is situated on 450 hectares of privately owned land within the North-West Province of South Africa. The opposite 200 megawatts had already been offered by ABO Wind in 2022.
By means of the ABO Wind staff, the challenge obtained the mandatory permits and consents to be able to construct. The investor concluded a non-public energy buy settlement with an off-taker for the produced electrical energy.
