I like this, although I might submit that there are lots of completely different actions that may carry which means to our lives. Chief amongst these is leaving this world a greater place than it was after we discovered it.
When my spouse and I used to take our children and their little buddies to the seaside, we made an enormous deal out of cleansing up all our trash, after which–drum roll please–one piece of another person’s. We referred to as it the “ceremonial piece of litter.” “Time to go residence,” I’d say. “Who desires to be the hero of the day and choose up one additional piece of trash?”
Fingers shot up. I do!
Do any of those children bear in mind these moments, particularly, as adults?
Does it matter?
