Qcells, Navajo Energy House Associate to Electrify Navajo Nation Properties   






Qcells and Navajo Energy House (NPH) have introduced a partnership to offer electrical energy to an estimated 300 houses on the Navajo Nation reservation. 

Earlier this yr, Qcells donated 1,000 photo voltaic panels to Navajo Energy House. The corporate says that this was each the primary photo voltaic panel donation obtained by NPH, in addition to the primary at-scale donation from a photo voltaic producer to assist the electrification of tribal lands. 

Along with Qcells’ donation, the U.S. Division of Vitality (DOE) awarded a $5 million Fastened Vitality Enhancements in Rural Areas Grant to Navajo Energy House to broaden its providers.

Between the donation and grant from DOE, NPH will meet its objectives to energy 1,000 houses by the top of 2025 and develop its group of 13.
