Energy Sustainable Invests in EDF Renewables Photo voltaic+Storage Challenge






Energy Sustainable Power Infrastructure (PSEI) and EDF Renewables North America have closed Section 1 of a strategic funding whereby PSEI acquired a 50% stake within the Desert Quartzite Photo voltaic+Storage Challenge. 

This funding was executed with Potentia Renewables, PSEI’s built-in developer and operator. The ultimate section of the funding is predicted to shut upon the undertaking’s completion and business operation.

Desert Quartzite, positioned in Riverside County, Calif., is at the moment below building and is slated to have a 300 MW capability for photo voltaic, mixed with a 150 MW, four-hour BESS. 

Electrical energy generated can be delivered to Clear Energy Alliance, the Neighborhood Selection Aggregator serving 35 communities in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, below a 20-year PPA. Development is predicted to be full by year-end, with long-term operations and upkeep carried out by EDF Renewables’ Asset Optimization.
