Chaberton Power has commenced development on Lime Kiln, a 2.9 MW neighborhood photo voltaic venture situated in Fulton, Howard County, Md.
The venture was developed by Chaberton and is owned and operated by Pivot Power. It is going to be a part of the Maryland Group Photo voltaic program.
“That is one other large win for clear power and for equitable entry to renewable power in our residence state of Maryland,” says Mike Doniger, Chaberton co-founder and chief working officer. “This can be a nice instance of how neighborhood photo voltaic can work for native residents, and I can’t wait to see this venture energy up.”
The Lime Kiln venture will use 15 acres on a 57-acre tract of land and is anticipated to incorporate native pollinators. It’s slated to be operational subsequent yr.
