Dairyland has obtained a U.S. Division of Agriculture (USDA) award below the Powering Inexpensive Clear Power (PACE) program for 2 photo voltaic and power storage tasks in western Wisconsin.
One of many 2 MW photo voltaic and battery storage websites is served by Jackson Electrical Cooperative close to the Ho-Chunk Nation space in Black River Falls. The opposite is served by Soar River Electrical Cooperative close to the Lac Courte Oreilles, Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe space.
“Dairyland is happy to be on the forefront of power storage deployment in rural areas,” says Dairyland president and CEO Brent Ridge.
“We’re grateful for the PACE award, which helps the event of native photo voltaic assets and the rising applied sciences that might be key to the power transition.”
