LLA invests in low-carbon automobile transition – HVO.
London Luton Airport (LLA) has taken one other key step in the direction of its ambition to realize Web Zero* for its airport emissions by 2040, following a multi-million-pound funding in a fleet of sustainable automotive park switch buses and operational autos used throughout the airport.
The brand new buses are powered by ISCC (Worldwide Sustainability Carbon Certification) licensed hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a lower-carbon different to diesel that may save as much as 90% of carbon emissions throughout the gas’s lifecycle.
