Youth invited to enter their paintings


The Metropolis of Fort St. John and the Fort St. John Arts Council invite all youth aged 15-19 within the Peace River Regional District to submit paintings for this yr’s Excessive on Ice Winter Fest’s fleece Half-Pike Tuberz®. This cozy clothes merchandise is produced annually to advertise the annual occasion and is shared with carving artists, public, and volunteers.

The annual Metropolis of Fort St. John Excessive on Ice Winter Fest occurs in Fort St. John yearly on the Household Day weekend. This competition has been a winter celebration for our residents and area for almost 20 years and can happen on February 16-18, 2024.

“We’re excited to pick a design created by our native youth to characteristic at this season’s Excessive on Ice Winter Fest,” said Eryn Griffith, Arts and Tradition Supervisor for the Metropolis of Fort St. John. “And we wish to acknowledge the Fort St. John Arts Council for his or her ongoing assist with this creative initiative.”
