Aggreko Acquires Behind-the-Meter Texas Photo voltaic Challenge






Aggreko has introduced that its Power Transition Options (ETS) division has acquired a 13 MW behind-the-meter solar energy venture website in Texas which the corporate will oversee building of, personal and function. 

The corporate says the system, as soon as full, will present the client with Scope 1 and a couple of greenhouse gasoline emissions reductions below a long-term fixed-price PPA.

“We’re happy to finish this transaction and add it to our rising portfolio of photo voltaic and storage tasks below improvement in Texas that whole over 600 MW,” says Jerry Polacek, Aggreko ETS president.

“Texas is a beautiful marketplace for most of these C&I tasks, because of its strong photo voltaic useful resource, ease of improvement and an environment friendly ERCOT grid connection course of for tasks of this dimension,” provides Aggreko ETS CCO Prashanth Prakash. “This venture serves as one other instance of how we assist industrial and industrial clients meet their decarbonization targets.”

The Texas acquisition follows the corporate’s announcement final month that the division had acquired 9 group photo voltaic websites in upstate New York.
