Ailes Marines Completes On-Schedule Turbine Set up on Saint-Brieuc Farm






Ailes Marines, an Iberdrola subsidiary, has introduced the on-schedule full set up of 62 offshore generators on the Saint-Brieuc wind farm.

Norwegian firm Fred Olsen’s Courageous Tern jack-up vessel put in the final 8 MW wind turbine at place SB49 on Dec. 17. The ship had made 18 rotations from Le Havre, with parts of as much as 4 generators on board. The generators, constructed by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Vitality, had been put in on their jacket basis.
