Alternus Clear Vitality has introduced the December activation of the Omohundro Photo voltaic Venture by its subsidiary, Lightwave Renewable.
The milestone was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony final Friday with Nashville mayor, Freddie O’Connell, and marks the third operational asset in Alternus’ collaboration with the town’s Metro Water Providers.
The photo voltaic set up will present a serious portion of the vitality wanted for Metro Water Providers’ operations on the Omohundro campus, says the corporate.
“The activation of the Omohundro section is the primary main step in our partnership with Metro Water Providers and the town of Nashville, and underscores our dedication to advancing renewable vitality initiatives within the U.S.,” says Vincent Browne, CEO of Alternus. “We sit up for persevering with our collaborative efforts with Metro as we attempt in direction of a sustainable and environmentally aware future.”
Omohundro, with a complete 2.6 MW capability, consists of two segments: Omohundro East with 1.5 MW and Omohundro West with 1.1 MW. Each segments are secured beneath a 30-year vitality companies settlement with Metro Water Providers.
