The Metropolis of Fort St. John is happy to host the Santa Claus Parade and Tree Gentle-up at Centennial Park on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Street closures are deliberate from roughly 4 to 7:30 pm on 100 Road between 93 and 100 avenues to make sure the security of parade spectators and pedestrians. No public automobile entry will probably be allowed throughout this time. Moreover, highway closures close to 98 Road and 110 Avenue will facilitate parade marshalling.
The parade begins at 5 pm from 108 Avenue and 100 Road, travelled south on 100 Road to Centennial Park. Be a part of us for post-parade festivities at Centennial Park and the Pageant Plaza, together with the Christmas tree light-up, complimentary sizzling canines and sizzling chocolate, and the possibility to fulfill Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Moreover, we’ve partnered with Pizza Hut to supply free Christmas Decoration Crafts 4 Youngsters with Ms. Mervyn on the Youngsters Enviornment Fieldhouse from 10 am till 2 pm, and with Northern Lights School totally free Public Skating on the Pomeroy Sport Centre from midday – 3 pm.
