The BlueFloat Vitality and Renantis partnership have submitted a scoping request and Habitats Rules Evaluation screening report back to the Marine Directorate for the Broadshore Hub Wind Farm Growth Areas in Scotland.
The scoping request seeks the Scottish Minister’s opinion on the scope and particulars of the Environmental Influence Evaluation (EIA) report.
The Broadshore Hub Wind Farm Growth Areas cowl the Broadshore, Sinclair and Scaraben offshore wind farms.
The partnership secured the rights for the Sinclair and Scaraben floating offshore wind farms within the INTOG leasing spherical which was held in March 2023.
A few months later, the BlueFloat Vitality and Renantis partnership determined to develop the 2 99.5 MW floating wind farms as a part of a phased supply of the partnership’s Broadshore venture, situated 47 kilometres north of Fraserburgh.
