The Bureau of Ocean Vitality Administration (BOEM) is opening a 30-day public remark interval, ending on March 4, inviting public touch upon the Draft EA for added website evaluation plan actions within the Beacon Wind lease space offshore Massachusetts. Â
The Draft EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of proposed website evaluation actions, consisting of 35 deployments and removals of a single suction bucket basis at 26 areas inside the lease space. The bureau says it’s doing so to collect data supporting the engineering design of wind turbine and offshore substation foundations to doubtlessly be put in inside the lease space for a future Beacon Wind mission. Â
