Building has begun on the three.6 MW Constable Photo voltaic undertaking, developed by Citrine Energy and purchased by Encore Renewable Power, who would be the proprietor and operator of the undertaking.
Constable Photo voltaic is Encore’s first photo voltaic undertaking in New York State.
Underneath New York’s NY-Solar Initiative and VDER program, NYSEG will compensate the undertaking for the electrical energy produced from the brand new array and ship the power to their clients.
The undertaking website, previously used for hay manufacturing, is owned by siblings Michelle, Danielle and Steve Sirois, 29-year landowners in Constable. Citrine Energy has been working with the Sirois siblings, NYSEG, City of Constable and NYSERDA to develop and allow the undertaking since 2022.

A partnership is in place with J&R Pierce Household Farm, situated in West Chazy, N.Y., to offer sheep to rotationally graze the location to fulfill the vegetation administration requirements required for photo voltaic manufacturing.
