The 83 MW Tepuy photo voltaic plant – situated within the municipality of La Dorada within the division of Caldas, Colombia – has began business operations.

The venture serves the Nationwide Interconnected System (SIN) with 199,534 bifacial photo voltaic panels starting from 540 W to 550 W, supported by 29,000 metallic buildings with photo voltaic trackers.

EPM, the most important public service supplier in Colombia, started the venture in July 2022.

UPME, an entity underneath Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Power, has stated that the nation has gained 611.44 MW of recent capability from non-conventional renewable vitality sources (FNCER) since January 2023.
