Correll Group’s electrical engineering division has secured a contract with Hellenic Cables for the termination and testing of the inter-array cables on the generators and offshore substation for Revolution Wind’s 704 MW offshore farm.
Revolution Wind, a three way partnership between Ørsted and Eversource, is ready to supply 400 MW of vitality to Rhode Island and 304 MW to Connecticut when operational, anticipated subsequent yr.
The wind challenge is positioned roughly 15 miles south of the Rhode Island coast, 32 miles southeast of the Connecticut coast and 12 miles southwest of Martha’s Winery.
