CPA Taking 575 MW of Energy from SunZia Wind


California-based nonprofit electrical energy supplier Clear Energy Alliance has inked a 15-year energy buy settlement with Sample Power for 575 MW of wind power from the SunZia Wind undertaking in central New Mexico, which is scheduled to start full development later this yr and obtain business operation in 2026.

The wind energy from the undertaking will likely be carried over the SunZia Transmission Line, which is able to allow the supply of energy from SunZia Wind straight into the California Unbiased System Operator (CAISO) power market.
