D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI), in partnership with Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), introduced that the Drew Photo voltaic challenge has reached industrial operation. Drew Photo voltaic is a 100-MWAC photo voltaic power facility situated in Imperial County, California. The power started working in December 2022.
Drew Photo voltaic has an influence buy settlement with SMUD. The power is predicted to generate sufficient clear power to energy roughly 30,000 properties every year, in response to metrics offered by the Environmental Safety Company.
