On August 2nd and August 4th, 2019, two Precision Drilling rigs, spaced roughly 2.5km aside, commenced vertical drilling operations to an intermediate casing level of approx. 2,400m (2.4km). As soon as these vertical sections had been cased and cemented in place, each rigs continued to drill two multi-lateral wellbore sections in the direction of one another till making exact and secure wellbore intersections of the 156mm (6.125”) diameter opposing boreholes.
