Enhanced Drilling has secured a five-year body settlement with Equinor to offer its subsea applied sciences for use for operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The body settlement is the primary in its type for Enhanced Drilling, and covers all applied sciences in its product portfolio.
EC-Drill, which is included within the body settlement, is a Managed Mud Stage (CML) system, the place the wellbore stress is precisely managed utilizing a subsea pump hooked up to the riser. The system operates with subsea annulars to allow full stress administration in all sections of the effectively.
Enhanced Drilling’s Reducing Transportation System (CTS) takes cuttings away from the effectively space throughout top-hole drilling on semisubmersible rigs, and through clean-up operations on the seabed.
Different applied sciences to be provided to Equnior embody Enhanced Drilling’s RMR, MPC, and EC-Drill Twin MPD.
“We’re thrilled to announce the continuation and growth of our enduring collaboration with Equinor by means of this complete body settlement. We sit up for leveraging our cutting-edge applied sciences, together with CTS, RMR, MPC, EC-Drill, and EC-Drill twin MPD, to boost Equinor’s operational effectivity and contribute to the success of their tasks. We’re excited in regards to the collaborative alternatives that lie forward in shaping the way forward for the oil and gasoline trade,” stated Kjetil Lunde, CEO Enhanced Drilling.
The settlement, in impact from February 1, 2024, is for operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with the intent of future international use, Enhanced Drilling famous.
