The Met Police has moved in to arrest protestors after chaos broke out on London‘s streets, with Eritrean protesters attacking riot vans with sticks outdoors a theatre.

The busy highway Camberwell Highway in south London has since reopened, however police have confirmed numerous arrests have been made and as many as 60 protestors stay behind a police cordon.

Surprising scenes round The Lighthouse theatre appeared to point out protesters wielding sticks clashing with Met Cops, bringing site visitors to a standstill.

The protest is said to ‘tensions within the Eritrean neighborhood’, the Met Police confirmed.

One particular person on X stated he heard the Eritrean embassy was in the midst of a gathering when the protesters confirmed up on the scene.
