Origis Vitality and Tri-State Technology and Transmission Affiliation have put its 200 MW Escalante Photo voltaic mission into industrial operation.
The mission was constructed on the positioning of the previous 253 MW, coal-fired Escalante Station close to Grants, N.M., which was retired in 2020.

The mission is delivering energy to Tri-State’s members, together with 11 New Mexico electrical cooperative members, below a PPA with Origis Vitality.
Gridworks, headquartered in Albuquerque, offered building companies for the mission. Array Applied sciences, additionally headquartered in Albuquerque, offered the photo voltaic monitoring system.
