Euglena and Petronas Analysis of Malaysia Complete joint analysis settlement concluded relating to large-scale manufacturing know-how of microalgae for biofuel feedstock.
Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Izumo Mitsuru; hereinafter known as “Euglena Co.”) is happy to announce that it has signed a complete joint analysis settlement on August 21, 2024 with Malaysia’s Petronas Analysis Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter known as “Petronas Analysis”) to determine large-scale manufacturing know-how for microalgae and use it as a uncooked materials for biofuels equivalent to sustainable aviation gas (SAF) and next-generation biodiesel gas (Renewable Diesel Gasoline or Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)). Petronas Analysis is a subsidiary of the analysis and growth division of Malaysia’s world vitality group Petroliam Nasional Berhad (hereinafter known as “PETRONAS”).
