The finalists for the 2024 Subsea Expo Awards have been introduced forward of the ceremony happening in Aberdeen subsequent month.
Organized by International Underwater Hub, the annual occasion will happen on Wednesday, 21 February at P&J Stay.
Fourteen firms have been shortlisted as finalists within the awards which have fun the achievements of firms and people which can be main the way in which within the UK’s underwater sectors. Round 500 visitors are anticipated to attend the black-tie dinner at which seven awards will likely be offered.
- The Firm of the 12 months beneath 50 staff class, sponsored by Ocean Installer, sees nominations for north-east firms AISUS Subsea and J+S Subsea, which have been shortlisted alongside Crondall Vitality, which has a base within the Granite Metropolis.

- Up and coming expertise within the underwater trade will likely be recognised with the Rising Star Award. The nominations on this class are Iván Alonso of Basingstoke-based Aquatec Group, Ciaran Reid of Crondall Vitality and Kairvee Tyagi of J+S Subsea.
- Shortlisted within the Know-how Improvement class, sponsored by C-Kore Methods, are Balmoral Group, SEAJET Methods and joint entrants Sonomatic and Geo Oceans. This award acknowledges excellence in growing a brand new expertise and bringing it to market.
- Within the Security Innovation class, sponsored by J+S Subsea, the finalists are specialised subsea undertaking administration and engineering agency MMA Offshore and expertise supplier to the vitality industries TechnipFMC.
