GWEC Appoints Adam Bruce as Inaugural Senior Fellow to Speed up International Wind Power Deployment

GWEC has appointed Adam Bruce as its inaugural Senior Fellow. Along with his in depth experience in renewable power and local weather diplomacy, Adam will bolster GWEC’s international efforts in supporting corporations, communities, and governments in implementing wind power initiatives worldwide.

With over 15 years of expertise, Adam has spearheaded the event of quite a few onshore and offshore wind initiatives, demonstrating his dedication to realizing wind power’s potential. His profound understanding of development markets, coupled together with his regulatory and coverage acumen, will improve GWEC’s initiatives in rising and increasing markets globally.

Adam’s appointment comes at a crucial time as GWEC leads efforts to meet renewable power pledges following COP28 in Dubai, reaffirming its dedication to driving actionable options for a sustainable future.

Ben Backwell, CEO of the International Wind Power Council stated, “It’s a privilege to welcome Adam Bruce to the GWEC group. Adam Bruce, GWEC Senior Fellow added, “I’m delighted to be taking up this new position with GWEC, to assist speed up the deployment of wind power globally, by sharing among the experiences I’ve garnered over the past twenty years.
