UK-based renewable power developer Hive Power is partnering with the authorities within the Spanish area of Castilla-La Mancha to construct a hydrogen hub within the province of Albacete.
The Hive H2 Albamed venture will produce renewable hydrogen with as much as 9 GW of photo voltaic and wind power and 4 GW of electrolysis capability by 2030. The overall funding has been estimated at greater than €10 billion ($10.7 billion). The venture is ready to supply greater than 1 million tons of inexperienced hydrogen and ammonia by 2030.
