India declares phased introduction of Biogas lending for Home use.
India will begin mixing compressed biogas with pure fuel to spice up home demand and reduce reliance on pure fuel imports, the federal government stated in a press release on Saturday.
The obligatory phased introduction will begin at 1% to be used in vehicles and households from April 2025, it stated. The share of obligatory mixing will then be elevated to round 5% by 2028.
