A consortium of Jan De Nul Group and Hellenic Cables will design, manufacture, transport and set up a package deal of 4 220 kV HVAC export cables to attach the Polish offshore wind farms Baltyk II and Baltyk III to shore. Upon completion, these wind farms developed by the three way partnership of Equinor and Polenergia will present inexperienced electrical energy to greater than two million Polish households.
Wind farms Baltyk II and Baltyk III are positioned within the Polish zone of the Baltic Sea. Every can have a capability of 720 MW and hook up with the onshore grid by way of a complete of 4 HVAC submarine cables, with a mixed size of 256 km. Baltyk II and Baltyk III will probably be two of the primary operational offshore wind farms in Poland, supporting the nation in its transition to renewable vitality.
