JERA Nex Acquires Two Photo voltaic Farms from Lightsource bp

JERA Nex has acquired two photo voltaic initiatives from Lightsource bp: the 300 MW Oxbow photo voltaic farm in Louisiana, and the 95 MW Comfortable photo voltaic farm in Arkansas.

Each initiatives are in business operation. The Comfortable mission has a long-term PPA with Conway Corp, the city-owned utility system in Conway, Ark. Oxbow has long-term PPAs with company prospects together with eBay.

“This primary transaction since our current launch is a sign of our formidable plans to scale onshore and offshore renewables for a sustainable future; we hope to construct a broader onshore renewables portfolio within the U.S. and globally,” says JERA Nex’s Richard Scott.

“Lightsource bp has a superb fame for delivering prime quality photo voltaic farms and that’s precisely what we’ve acquired with Oxbow and Comfortable. We look ahead to working with the native communities and prospects to supply clear and sustainable power within the years to come back.”

As a part of the settlement, Lightsource bp will proceed to supply asset administration and O&M companies to JERA Nex.
