Kinematics Marks First Cargo of ST Sequence Actuators

Kinematics has made its first cargo of the corporate’s ST Sequence actuators, particularly meant for single-axis photo voltaic trackers.

The corporate says the collection incorporates a dry bearing design that delivers extra holding torque than its HE collection, permitting monitoring firms to make use of a smaller drive for a similar utility.

“We imagine the ST collection will change into the de facto normal for single-axis tracker actuation and set the benchmark for reliability and efficiency for photo voltaic tracker producers, photo voltaic EPCs, photo voltaic venture homeowners, financiers and O&M suppliers,” says Adam Plesniak, CTO of Kinematics.

“The principle problem was proving an enchancment in efficiency over our HE collection drive, which is already a sturdy, high-volume manufacturing drive. The HE collection requires extra upkeep and has much less capability per drive measurement than the ST. These challenges had been overcome via hours of devoted growth, rigorous testing and detailed evaluation.”
