Magnachip Semiconductor Company has developed its 1200V 75A Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) in a TO-247PLUS bundle, designed for photo voltaic inverters.
Magnachip entered the photo voltaic inverter market in 2020 by introducing the 1200V 40A IGBT (MBQ40T120QFS) after which providing the 650V 75A IGBT (MBQ75T65PEH). The corporate has now unveiled its 1200V 75A IGBT (MBQA75T120RFS).
The corporate says the newest product, packaged in a TO-247PLUS with a large warmth spreader, improves warmth dissipation as in comparison with the TO-247 bundle. Designed in accordance with the requirements of the Joint Electron System Engineering Council, the corporate provides the product is appropriate for a variety of purposes requiring strict energy scores, together with photo voltaic inverters, converters, uninterruptible energy provide methods and general-purpose inverters.
“With this new product launch, Magnachip’s photo voltaic vitality energy product lineup has been additional strengthened and now boasts high-performance IGBTs and MXT MV MOSFETs that fulfill the technical necessities of purposes within the photo voltaic vitality market,” says YJ Kim, CEO of Magnachip.
“We are going to proceed to produce progressive energy options concentrating on renewable vitality purposes and capitalize on progress alternatives throughout the business.”
The corporate plans to start out mass manufacturing this October.
