Metropolis receives grant for youth meals safety program


The Metropolis of Fort St. John acquired a $5,000 grant from the Authorities of BC, via BC Wholesome Communities and the PlanH program, to help the creation of more healthy communities via assets, practices and studying alternatives focussed on folks, society and the surroundings.

This grant funding shall be used to help a program designed by Catherine Ruddell of Creatively Sustained to convey youth collectively to attach the neighborhood to their neighbours, neighbourhoods, and the native surroundings, referred to as “We Develop Rainbows.”

This system goals to handle and alter the narrative round what meals sustainability seems like in our Northern distant space.  Via this interactive expertise, youth individuals will full month-to-month actions the place they’ll plan, develop, plant, develop, keep gardens, harvest, and put together meals.
