Madison Fuel and Electrical’s (MGE) newest photo voltaic array, the 6 MW Tyto Photo voltaic in Fitchburg, Wis., is totally operational and delivering vitality to MGE’s grid.
“This venture is one other step in our journey towards net-zero carbon electrical energy for all MGE electrical prospects,” says MGE’s Jeff Keebler. “Our goal is decreased carbon emissions. Below our dedication, by 2030, each MGE electrical buyer could have 80 % fewer carbon emissions related to their electrical energy use just by being an MGE buyer. Everybody we serve will reap the advantages of a cleaner grid as we make investments cost-effectively for a net-zero carbon future.”
Tyto Photo voltaic makes use of bifacial panels with a monitoring system programmed to rotate with the solar.
OneEnergy Renewables developed and constructed the venture.
